Whelp! Just did the 2nd injection a few moments ago, I had the Boa in a pillow case and he was still able to "kick" me out half way done injecting.. Did it a 2nd time to finish off the .5cc of meds... he looks sooooo cute!!!
He is looking a LOT better after the shed and Meds and is HUNGRY! LOL

the_snakesOMG what an amazing week!!!!! I can not start to describe how much fun was had!!
It started off with BBB and Delmir arriving on the Friday around 3AM! I tried to stay up but ended up passing out only to wake up to the sound of the 2 bringing their bags in... Glad I left the front door open! O_O
We stayed up with BBB till around 4:30AM then Delmir and I ended up yapping till 6AM LOL!
Puppy Face (Dek) then arrived on Saturday around 12:30PM - After a quick chat we all decided not to hit Wonderland and just sit around my house and talk/drink and be merry! So we did! Around 6PM we went to the Waterfront bistro for dinner - Very nice place owned by one of my customers overlooking Lake Ontario :)
Sunday comes and we decide that we all should go to the EX and watch the Air show - So we freshen up, drive to the GO station and get a train to the show - Good times! Right outside the entrance was a massive beer tent so we stop in for a few beers then head to the viewing area - I did not find the spot I wanted but was still good. I meet up with another beer tent guy and he was willing to pour the beer into Coke cups so we could leave the drinking area and continue to watch the show. What amazing planes the U.S. makes!! The Weather was PERFECT (In fact, the weather was perfect the full 7 days!) so we watched the show, drank 8$ beers and life was good!
We get back to my pad around 6PM and see BBB and Delmir off (QQ) then Puppy Face and I go to John's place for a BBQ and mass drinking! (John is my bro 2 doors down) We have a great time, drank a LOT and ate well off of steaks!
Monday was a nice quiet day - I took the Pup to one of the large malls I have just 15 mins away on transit - I had forgot that it was a holiday and the mall was closed!!! But luckily the movie place was open - so we watch a movie called "Gamer" eat like Kings at Burger King and all that fun stuff! We get back to my pad around 5PM and make a b-line to John's again for a re-do of the fun had the last night! More amazing food, mass amounts of booze and beer! And my friend Bruce (my "Snake Guy") and his GirlFriend make an appearance with one of John's spiders! COOL STUFF! We eat ad drink, leave John's around 11PM and all head back to my pad for a nice sit-down and chat - They leave around 1AM and Dek and I watch a movie :)
Tuesday we hit the Zoo for a few hours (OMG we are both so out of shape! 3 hours and we where both dead!) We both woke up around 11AM so it was a very late start to the day - Zoo for a few hours then back to my place for R&R - Fall asleep at 4AM =/
Wednesday was another quiet day with us again waking up at 11AM - Dek cooked breakfast for us.. OMG can that Wolf cook! By the time we finished and freshened up, it was rolling up to 1PM so decide to just hang loose - Around 5PM rolls around we we where both in my backyard with ice cold beers and I get a call from Bruce again! He wants to come by again with his GirlFriend as she had such a great time last night - She was also bringing over a BBQ! So around 8 comes and in they come with steaks so HUGE I swear the hooves where still attached! She gets to work and we all ate like kings! Played a bit of cards that both Dek and I never did get the hang of... I bought a huge spider as well while they where there and Wa-La! Another amazing day!
Thursday was a re-do of the last morning - up at 11AM with the Puppy cooking breakfast again, finished and cleaned up around 1 and decide another lazy day! We sit outside, talk, drink then hit my work for a couple hours while there where closed to work on some Invoicing. We then had dinner and went to see G.I. Joe at the movie place close to work. Home at Midnight, in bed at 4AM :)
Friday was yet another 11AM wake-up! I think we where going to watch another movie, but ended up going to John's again for a few drinks that took us into 11PM - Bruce came over solo this time and helped my make some rat cage lids - Good day! I passes out watching a movie after Bruce left :(
Saturday ... WAAAAAAAAAAAAA Last day for Puppy face!! We get up around 10 and hit the Wexford for breakfast then pick Dek up and hang out outside till the cab came at 4PM to take him away :( I have to admit, I shed a tear walking back into the big empty house. :(
Was a great time and looking forward to doing it again!!!!

Other then that, not a hell of a lot going on... Doing a lot of house stuff as Snake-Con comes to be.. Only have 3 this time around, and 2 of them are just for 2 days LOL But I have Dek over for a full 7 days so all is well!
Last weekend I ran 30 more apms to the garage for a total of 45 amps....
So now I have lights on the side of the house as well as 2 flood light systems on the side of the garage :)
We had a MEGA storm roll in lest week as well....

So the storm was mega cool! Lost power for a good 4 hours :)

So not really a cool visit, more of a blah visit for the fish - but I am just glad I can offer a sleeping space for them! Last year they would have been stuck in a hotel :(
Oh! And here is a mega issue in the works! I work Monday so will be out of the house before they even wake up! I have entrusted Sharky to lock the front door when he leaves.. you know, that mega digital crazy lock thing I bought on ebay that never did work right? Yeah... Glad I have insurance! LOL

Was great seeing them 2 again! Just wish it could have been for a longer time :(
What is amazing is Sharky diden't break anything!!! =D (Though, his GPS did die on his way to my house LOL! Poor Sharky!!)

So yesterday I decided to "pull a few weeds" in the front garden...
About an hour in I gave up. busted out the shovel and CRUSHED IT!!!!!!!

ankhorite will shoot me for pulling :(NO BEER CANS?!?! I needed to keep it clean as the neighbor was out talking to me and I didn't want him to see 6 empty cans all over the place, but have no fear! There was beer drank! LOL!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA need to get use to this new keyboard! I opted for the 16 inch laptop as I am outdoors a lot with it, but thus it has a full keyboard! Kewl and stressing at the same time :)
Spent the last couple of weeks picking dandy lions from the lawn, I must have nailed 300 of the fuckers, but they just keep coming back!
Lawns are annoying and a lot of work :( ANKH HELP!!!

So had the old man over yesterday and we drilled some doors and put new knobs on them - a small job turned into a 4 hour deal with all the mess, needing to get some new knobs, etc! But we got it done, hung the door knocker I bought at AC up (FINELY!) and all that other crap.

My Sister, her hubby, and their kid popped by yesterday as well.. Got my very first "Hmmm... You need to get rid of all this Dragon stuff, your house looks crazy" from her! GAAA and here I thought I was keeping it low-key... I have my Aunt coming by in aboot an hour and we will be hitting the brick for a dinning room table and other stuff for the house... she is amazing at picking stuff out that looks great! Only problem with her is she has no respect for the great Canadian $$ !!! I have no doubt that I will end up spending a mini-fortune today *Sighs* Ah well, once it's done it's done!
Drinking - GAA! You know, I do enjoy a drink every now and again *Grins* and as such, I have a personal little rule that whatever I say on the booze will stand the next day! No matter what it is (Like telling my sister I would buy her a dog for X-mas) - This has gotten me into a few problems in the past, and I always try to do the "Let me sleep on it" thing... Whelp! On Friday I was talking to my Mom and Easter dinner came up... Well don't I have like 4 CC's & Coke in me and say "I'LL DO IT!!!" WTF was I thinking?!?!? So now I need to get that dinning room set I mentioned above, and a million other things to host 10 people over at my house while I don't even know how to cook! HAHA So it's going to be fun, but stressing. I even didn't give any thought to the day so I make it for Saturday, call them all up, then learn my Sister and her family cant go on Saturday so I change it to Friday, learn that my other Aunt cant do it on Friday (big on the God thing) so I then make it Saturday again! Talk aboot messing the whole family up!
Anyway, I need to watch the drinking... I'm soooo worried about when Bruce comes back from OZ - every time I talk to that guy I say things and buy things that I regret the next day... he understands me so normally it's cool.. But with him over,us building the terrarium, and him having snakes... I fear that I will end up with 12 MONSTER snakes that I cant take care of right off the bat, and have issues with them.... I now this, but will happen!

Yep Yep Yep! Just 1 more day and the painter is done! All he has left is the baseboards and the cleaning up! So when I get home from work tomorrow all I need to do is cut him a nice fat cheque! :)
Even though the baseboards are not done and this room is bare (Spending next Saturday putting up paintings and stuff!) I still took a couple pics of the TV room as it looks so amazing!

He has done an amazing job including extras like me taking out the old rad and the control for it and him patching up the massive holes and making it all 1 nice clean, purple wall. He even changed the light bulbs for me that I would never have been able to do without a huge ladder! He is great =D
So yeah! Next weekend is getting a amp for the TV so I can get rid of all the speaker wire that you see in the above pic (There are wires in the wall behind that speaker I will be using) and get the living room & kitchen speakers rocking as well. Going to hang a few pics and BOOM! The basement is done! Now I just need my bro, Bruce to get his ass back from Australia so we can set up that toe-crushing terrarium! =D

Whelp! The painter should have been done the basement on Friday - But he got himself sick! (Hisss) but finely, just today he started on the main part of the basement :)

I started on the "show room" and have it all primed for the real paint job. I also have started filling in the holes in the master bedroom in preparation for painting, so 2 rooms on the go at the same time! I am going to paint the "show room" the same colour as the basement so I'm hopping there is enough paint left over for the job. The master bedroom is a very dark colour that I can't recall right now LOL!
Things are starting to come along... I have no problem sleeping anymore, but this place still a house, not a home. I worked outside Saturday and got a lot of crap done, I also cleaned up the ton of dust and dirt from the garage, took down the X-mas lights, and all that fun stuff. This Saturday I'm at the parent's house to help them take my old computer desk apart and some other things... But hopping to finish the "show room" this weekend as well :) I truly don't think this will be a home till I paint the whole thing nice and fresh. I keep coming in and thinking of this place as the old owners place, even with all my stuff in their place!
So on to the 4th week in the house, TTYS!

WOW - what a busy weekend!!!
Started Friday with my co-worker and friend driving me around a bit to pick up a few items - like a monitor for the TV on the computer, a power supply for said computer, we went to this great reptile place and looked at some snakes O_O we then went to my place, ordered pizza, poured some CC & Coke and started! But it all failed in the end - I needed an adapter for the monitor (I have it too! Just no idea where!) we then started on setting up the speakers on the kitchen and the living room... we found the speakers for the kitchen with no problem, but failed to find the ones for the living room... by then it was going onto 10PM so called it a day :)
On Saturday the day started with the old man picking me up so I could go with his Co-GM and pick up a TV! Ended up getting a 52" Sony with speakers and a DvD player HERE As you can see, I cant get the blasted speakers working *Sighs* I'm hopping to get some help with that Friday =) OH! And the cable guy arrived 10 mins after I called him and set up the HD :)

Also had the alarm guy come install the new system, thing is cool!!! If the alarm goes off someone from the alarm box talkes to you! I set it off last night and ALMOST had the cops come as I was on the phone and they could not reach me HAHA!! (The alarm box calls through the phone line) AND finely, Phil (the Old-mans Co-GM) helped me install that CRAZY door lock.. we worked on it for a couple hours yesterday and again today he spent 2 hours playing with the thing, drilling, and basically making a mess of the house and the door! And after all that, it's STILL not 100% !!! Ah well, he is an amazing guy to help me out with this as I would never had been able to do it =D
Last night I dived into the CC and coke and watched Lord of the Rings on the TV - OMG it was amazing!! So big and bright! LOL
Well, thats aboot it! in a blink of an eye the weekend is over and I'm just winding down to get ready for the new work week. I'm hopping I start to sleep better soon! I am still waking up a few times a night... I never did that before =(
Still has not hit me that I have my own house, I think that will take a while... Need to have friends over, get some snakes, get a bloody TV!!! and all that stuff, but I am unpacked and things are good!
Movers where 30 mins late but they where amazing people and did a GREAT job! They even fought for 45mins to get the black sofa in the basement! I was so stressed... If that thing did not fit I would not have a 4' sofa to pass out on while watching TV! They CRUSHED my wall, but did ask for the OK before they did that and Finley got her down! WOOT!
Spent yesterday cleaning up a bit but mostly unpacking crap - The previous owner did an amazing job cleaning up and even left a bottle of bubbily in the fridge! (Witch was downed in 5 mins :P)
Dident have any friends over other then family but it's the first day - And I passed out at 10:30 anyways! HAHA
